I feel very fortunate to have fallen into the role of a financial advisor for the past 35 years.  What began as an escape from my first job in the hotel industry, after graduating from Penn State, has turned into an incredibly rewarding career.  And things got even better when I started Addis Hill with Justin.  Nothing beats working as an independent fiduciary advisor – always working in the client’s best interest.

People ask me what I would have done had the financial services industry never happened?  I would have been in the home renovation business!  Being an advisor at Addis Hill is a lot like renovating a house.  It’s like taking an existing house and figuring out how to make it better!  That’s what I love to do – help put the pieces together to make life better for our clients.

I am lucky to have been married to Sue for the past 35 years and raised our family in Wayne, PA – a small town environment just like Bellefonte, PA the town I grew up in. The small town values have stayed with me all these years and have contributed to my success as a person and advisor.  Sue and I share three children – Drew (age 29) a digital storyteller and endurance athlete, Kyle (age 27) an Officer in the United States Marine Corp currently teaching Navy ROTC at Notre Dame, and Jenny (age 23), also a PSU grad, who works for Toll Brothers in public relations and social media.

The Addis family loves to spend time at their home on the Chesapeake Bay!
