Yes, if you can believe it, CNBC Power Lunch actually reported this “fact” on Monday. Most who would tune in to this show might actually start to shake in their boots the “news” sounded so ominous. Why am I bringing this to your attention? Because today there must have NOT been a whole lot of news for CNBC to report. So, if there isn’t a lot happening, why not make something up to grab the viewers attention? Keep in mind this headline grabber comes on the heels of stocks soaring over 30% in 2013! So, if the market is off even 1% the first 3 days of trading in 2014 is that really earth shattering news?
