I had the wonderful experience recently to meet and hear from one of my heroes, a legend in the financial services industry, 83-year-old Jack Bogle, the founder of Vanguard and father of the index fund. Mr Bogle spoke at the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors conference which I attended in Baltimore last month. He has spent his entire career dedicated to protecting the individual investor from high fee investment products. So much of the culture of Addis & Hill is a direct result of Jack Bogle’s influence. It was a privilege to be in his presence for an hour. We need more Jack Bogle’s in our world to continue to champion his message!
